Commercial Photography Apprentices
The New Voices commercial photography apprentice program leads students through a series of exercises to develop the ability to complete basic commercial photography assignments. Students will learn about event photography including weddings, location photography such as restaurants and hotels, basic portrait photography and sports photography using DSLR cameras, lighting equipment and studio space provided by New Voices.
After completing a series of basic classes, students will have the chance to further develop their skills by participating in real commercial photo assignments in the Playa Sámara community. Whether you’re sharpening your basic photo skills or looking for an opportunity to develop your own commercial photography practice, this series of classes will help you develop basic photo literacy and begin building a portfolio of professional work.
